Melvin's Birthday

Mom made Dad a cake for his birthday today. I think she's trying to get Dad to eat healthier because after looking at the picture, I'd advise Dad to eat the apple...

Update on Dad

Dad is back from the hospital and is feeling much better. He went outside for a little walk and of course had a phone call and had to come back in but I think he is anxious to move around some.

Heart Operation

Dad was operated on today and Union Memorial in Baltimore where he had a stint put in. He had to be transported from Easton Hospital to Baltimore and the operation took place around 4:00 in the afternoon.

Dad had a heart attack while reading a joke email about a chili eating contest. We took him to the hospital in Easton where he was immediately admitted.

Walnut in Walnut

We found a walnut that got trapped in the crotch of the tree and the tree grew around it.

Resting after moving the massive walnut log you see in the picture (it took 5 of us). NOTE TO DAD: don't push anymore logs this size. Dad was getting the logs cut into boards for some of his woodworking projects.
